Washington is home to Sands Montessori, which offers a comprehensive, hands-on Montessori education. If you’re interested in religious education, Mt. The community has much to offer in the way of recreation. Cincinnati’s 130-acre Stanbery Park is home to hiking trails, picnic areas, and a playground. Laverty Park and Royal Oaks Park are also located in Mt. Washington. The nearby Withrow Nature Preserve and California Woods Nature Preserve are excellent places for a hike or hanging out in nature. Mt. Washington Rec Center offers art, sports, and exercise opportunities, and it is within walking distance of most of the community. The Cincinnati Observatory is also located nearby.
